309A electrician jobs in Toronto: Murtex Electric is hiring a Crew Lead Electrician and an Electrical Apprentice.
Crew Lead Electrician (licensed 309A): $50 to $60 per hour + performance bonus + profit sharing. Part-time to start, leading to full-time. Lead residential and commercial jobs: service and panel upgrades, EV chargers, new circuits, rewiring, lighting, troubleshooting and repairs.
Electrical Apprentice (registered 309A, 3rd to 5th term): $25 to $45 per hour. Part-time to start, full-time after probation.
Both roles: G driver's licence, your own hand tools, and respect for customers' homes and businesses. Start as soon as possible.

Condo panel upgrade in Toronto after a flood.
Water from the unit upstairs got into this condo's electrical panel. We found water damage and rusted breakers, removed them, then came back and replaced the whole panel with a new Siemens panel: every wire tagged, disconnected and moved into the new panel.

An industrial pipe pendant for a Toronto loft.
Not your average light: a pipe pendant with a red valve handle and a spiral-filament Edison bulb, hung in front of tall windows. We installed it at the ceiling box and mounted the wood canopy, then finished with a vintage-style toggle plate with gold toggles.

An EV charger circuit, from the panel to the plug.

We gave this Toronto garage its own circuit for the customer's EV charger: a breaker marked EV in the panel, armoured cable to a labelled EV receptacle, and our sticker on the panel, all under an ESA permit. The customer supplied the charger, and it plugs straight in, ready to charge.

What was hiding above these pot lights?

We were hired to check work done by an unlicensed electrician in a Scarborough townhouse. Once we took the slim pot lights down, we found the wire splices hanging loose in the ceiling with no junction box.

We ended up fixing and redoing everything, working with ESA so it was all done safely and permitted. The splices now sit in metal junction boxes beside the drivers, with clean rows of pot lights on a dimmer.
