Based on our thirty years of experience, we have come to the conclusion that Lutron offers the most technologically advanced shading products on the market. Lutron manufactures two types of motors, a wired motor and a battery powered wireless motor.
With the Wired motor, you can order a shade for almost any size of window from the smallest twenty square-foot window to the largest two hundred twenty five square-foot window.
The Savoia QS motor is the quietest motor on the market operating at a mere 38 dBA which is relatively the same noise level inside a library.
Lutron offers a wide selection of fabrics and styles to choose from and also backs all their shading products with an eight year manufacturer’s limited warranty.
The battery operated shade is completely wireless and can be retrofitted into any location. The Wireless shade does not have as many fabric options as a wired shade but still has a vast selection of colours and styles to choose from.
Lutron Shading products are designed to operate as a stand-alone or can be integrated seamlessly with a Lutron lighting control system. Although Lutron Shading products are designed to work in conjunction with third party controllers, most other shading manufactures require integration with a third party controller to allow automated features. This makes Lutron Shading products more flexible and adaptable to meet all your home automation needs.

In 2016, Lutron introduced the Connect Bridge to be able to meet consumer demands for home control. The Lutron Connect Bridge allows for the end user to connect their existing or new Radio RA 2 or Homeworks QS system to their network and utilizing the Lutron Connect App (via IOS or Android device (s)), the end user can control their lighting control system both locally and remotely through Free Remote Access.
Some of the new features of the Lutron Connect Bridge are, System Timeclock Synchronization — The Lutron Connect Bridge will sync to online time servers periodically to ensure that system timeclock events will always be accurate, to the minute.

Connect Bridge also features scene selection for Apple® and Android ™ mobile devices — control your lights, shades and temperature without even unlocking your phone.

The Lutron Connect Bridge’s free remote access allows the end user to use their smart mobile devices to either turn their lights on or off remotely and increase or decrease the temperature of their home. Another key feature is it allows one to see if one has arrived home by monitoring lights being on in the home.
The new GEO-Fencing feature sends the end user a notification if they have left the lights on after leaving home, then turns them off conveniently right from the notifications screen.

The project was the Scotia Bank Digital Factory. We were working on a Lutron Quantum System. The entire space was gear around the creature comforts for the staff. The space had a Bar/Lounge with a vault door as an entry, a gym, showers, bowling alley, air hockey tables, ping pong tables and foose ball. The cafeteria has a 5 start chef that only cooks healthy food. What I was told is there is no deep fried food.

Lutron “Intelligent Hembar Alignment™,” or IHA, is a system designed to synchronize all motorized
shades in a single window or room of windows. IHA uses a patented, two-part electronic control
system to maintain hembar alignment within 1/8” during motion, and at all resting positions. IHA
is included on all sizes and models of Lutron’s Sivoia® QS and Sivoia QS Wireless shade treatments
and can be further fine-tuned in the field for custom applications.
