In the middle of a big renovation project near Gage Park. This top floor attic is gaining a lot more space. Full kitchen renovation as well and plenty of little in-betweens. We brought in some heavy hitters to help Team Faroe complete the roof and dormer to fit our busy timelines! and Matt and Shane crushed the framing on this one. Then they kindly passed the baton back to us and we crushed the back-framing!

This was the first project Team Faroe completed after my year of teaching at Mohawk College part-time at their skilled trades campus in Stoney Creek. It can be tricky getting heat and A/C up to a third floor where it doesn’t exist - and there are always options - for this attic renovation the best course was to run existing ductwork up and finish the chases to blend into the existing old home’s character. I do feel like we excel at this - only because it allows us to flex on design/ details / and ex*****on. The handrail and post was a fun one because we built a rock solid immovable post and then had to consider the balusters - and thin skinny balusters would have looked awkward!

This is the back addition and wrap-around deck we completed on the same house in Hamilton. Team Faroe did a lot of work on this one - from digging and pouring the concrete by hand to tile works in the shower! We had our top notch trade partners in on this one throughout as usual to help with all things licensed trades (plumbing and electrical).

All new stairs and railings, along with the top of the porch exterior fascia trims. All custom made with cedar, poplar and clear pine woods for different applications.

Team Faroe built and finished this walk-in closet recently amidst a busy teaching time for myself at Mohawk College. These were knock-down cabinets pretty easy to assemble. We matched the existing trim and doors, painted the entire master bedroom (and most of the house).

• We were able to snap some more pics of this finished master bathroom renovation in a beautiful Hamilton neighbour hood as we buttoned up a few small punch list items in the rest of the home.

We would like to direct your attention to some of our design choices that might not be obvious at first glance.

• We ran the tile at backsplash height all along the vanity wall. • We designed and fabricated a custom mirror on site to fit a precise layout; a layout that involved all of the trades to be involved in constructing. • The outlets located to the sides of the vanity. • The exposed brick wall to affect all design aspects of the finish. • And the two gifted plants from to put a nice little cozy stamp on things! •

Team Faroe is extremely proud of this renovation project! We will share some more pics over the coming days to celebrate the completion.
