It takes a telescope team to investigate how stars form in our universe! ⭐
This Hubble image shows the star nursery NGC 346. After NASA's James Webb Space Telescope begins science operations next month, astronomers will use its sharp infrared vision to observe medium-mass stars like our Sun that are still wrapped in dense, dusty cocoons.
This will help researchers learn more about how galaxies from long ago formed stars at such a high rate, because NGC 346 shares some of the same conditions that existed in galaxies during this peak star-formation era.
