LDEEP assists individuals facing barriers to labour market integration and supports them through employment solutions.
LDEEP activities understand two interventions:
1. Interactive workshops in duration of six weeks
Monday – Friday
10:00 am – 1:00
pm via Zoom
3 to 6 weeks
Workshops
2. On-the-job paid work experience afterwards (a sliding start time for each participant) with a potential employer, for an average of 30 H per week for 12 weeks.

Eligibility:
- Permanent resident and Canadian citizen
- Claimant refugee with decision letter and work permit
- Not in receipt of EI in the last 5 years
- Interested in entrepreneurship

• Individualized short-term & long-term career plans
• Focus on strengths
• Supports for successful career exploration, development &
decisions
• Identification of hard, soft & transferable skills leading to
direct pathways to employment or self-employment
• Recognition of prior & experiential learning
• Job searching & current marketing tools (competency
assessments, resume, cover letter, portfolio, interview
skills, networking, social media presence, etc.)
• Paid employment experience to increase technical, job
knowledge & workplace communication skills
• Guidance with training courses leading to apprenticeship,
skills upgrade, career goals, self-employment
• Occupational projections & job futures in Ontario
• Team of Counsellors, Facilitators, Job Developer, Job Coach support

Exciting changes are taking place at PIC, and we are looking for an exceptional individual to assist us in serving our members as our new Project Manager/Office Administrator.

Entrepreneurs and consultants are often pressured into getting lead pages, creating funnels and other mass marketing gigs. It definitely is overwhelming, especially at the earlier stages of one's business or practice.

This is not even a question of marketing, but a question of "what and how are you willing to share about yourself with your "true" client?". I was amazed at how often the inquiry of positioning yourself comes up with my coaching clients. The pressure of doing what other, seemingly successful, competitors are doing and the need for delivering authentic message with lightness and ease often clash!

My clients have discovered that talking about their previous open-door management style backed by great communication skills is an excellent way to open up about their valuable skills for businesses. Other clients have chosen to share about their insights form working with their own customers. All of this - on their blog or social media profile shared from the heart and without any heavy marketing.
