Well guys I broke and started smoking again. I get stressed and mad and first thing I do is reach for a smoke.
I'm still on the patch and not smoking very much but how did I go 2 full weeks without and boom back in my hand again

Homeowners that tell you they fired the handyman today because or this or that or they will say they were quoted an exuberant amount of money.

Only for us to find out it was the Homeowner who did the work.

REMEMBER REAL TRADES PEOPLE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THEY'RE CRAFT. ITS AN EXTENTION OF THEY'RE CHARACTER THERE SPIRIT AND ETHICS. NOT A TOY FOR HOMEOWNERS TO PLAY WITH.

GREETINGS AND SALUTATIONS..

So its been awhile since my last reel. I know all 2 of you were dyeing from anticipation waiting for my next post. Buuuuuutttttt ... You know the holiday's and stuffff. Oh and by the way happy new year ... Buuuuut its back to the grind. Currently I'm in the middle of some light cosmetic renovations. Some mudding some sanding and some new paint. Move this, tote that. "Fung shway the crap out of more crap" and so on. But as they say in he reno world ( Lipstick on a pig ). So that lead me to do research on colors and they're effects on people and they're environment. As the place I'm currently renovating is a business, I have come to understand that creating an environment that will flourish is essential to a business being successful and why certain colors are chosen. You know what's crazy is the idea of color being able to induce or effect or invoke "if you will" certain moods. Like energy and calming as well as inspiration, creativity and so on. I still need to approach the owners for permission to post some of the content I've been saving on the job I'm currently doing. I feel its very respectful for me to do so. I want to be able to post again soon but something new and interesting. OK but all seriousness aside for a moment. Imagine this setting if you will. 1970s ish 3 story red clay brick building with store front in old Greek town Toronto. ... If you know anything about Greeks blue and white are they're colors. If you know anything about the area. You can say there has been a sizable army of trades people come and go over the years. Some good some not so good. However ...... I'm starting think I've found the origin of my arch nemesis .... The notorious and dastardly villain .... Dark Blue Paint .... perhaps with some help from all of you guys we can locate its secret layer and vanquish this plague while its sleeps.

Seriously what's with people and the darkest blue paint on the planet. Minimum 3 coats of primer.

this is 208. you were able to look into it from 206 but as you can see I rebuild the wall between the units. There was some kind of header in there that I had never seen before so I was forced to remove the header then rebuild the wall. Again i did all the insulation all the dry wall and all the mud taping and sanding in this room and even did the finish coat of paint. I did all the flooring and tack strips and carpet. later on I also filled sanded and painted and chalked all the trim. I do apologize that I wasn't able to get a final walkthrough for this room. You may ask yourself why I might have staggered those joints in the drywall. The customer said that guests have been complaining about noise coming through the wall from the previous set up. I have learned threw many years of experience that vibration patten in the joints carry noise so I staggered the joints in order to stagger the vibration pattern. Guess what no noise now.
