New in the Workshop – Ghille Ruadh Bùth Obrach

We’ve just added two new handcrafted live edge crib boards to our online shop — inspired by the blues and greens of Skaha Lake.

Each board is one of a kind, featuring natural hardwood grain paired with lake-inspired resin. Carefully crafted, drilled, and hand-finished in our home workshop, no two pieces will ever be the same.

“Ghille Ruadh” (Gaelic for Red-Haired Lad) is named in honour of Glen (Charlie) Rugg's Scottish father — and that heritage of craftsmanship and pride goes into every piece.

Good Friday ... a great day to make a donation to the J. Lloyd Crowe Secondary School, Class of '79 for its 45th Reunion! This is the newest piece by Glen Rugg: a large board made with Olive Wood and transparent Cherry Red and Merlot pigment resin.
