The Flyin' X was in the Queen City today doing some "relief drainage" trenching, if you will....So many wonderful homes and properties in this region are literally SLAMMED into the hillside and there is an abundance of water in ALL forms. Many are old and unprotected by today's standards. The homeowner had me cut this diversion so he can sort out problems by the foundation and make future plans for the property. A really,REALLY GOOD CALL! 👍😎
The terrain was steep, uneven and heavily saturated. The soil in the immediate surroundings hasn't had a chance to dry out in decades. Extremely challenging! 🤠

it was a "time of the essence" kinda thing so the Flyin' A stepped in to preserve a beautiful easel for an aging and prolific artist in my neighbourhood. I tried to preserve as much of the gentleman's "patina" as possible and the oiling made the cedar POP perfectly to suit the story.....Others came to clean the house and make repairs. Big job and lots of wonderful people!
