Mid-century inspired and full of the kind of details that make a space memorable.

This lower level bathroom was part of a larger New Westminster project that involved lifting the home and adding a new level. Working in collaboration with Abode Designs, our team brought together warm walnut cabinetry, slatted wall tile, blue hexagon flooring, and matte black fixtures throughout. The oval mirror adds just the right amount of softness to balance the bolder shapes below.

Most homeowners in this situation start looking outward — at listings, at neighbourhoods, at what a move would cost. This owner looked at what she already had.

Our team converted the existing garage and workshop into a fully self-contained in-law suite — living room, full kitchen with dark shaker cabinetry and stainless appliances, bedroom, and its own entrance via a sliding glass door to the backyard deck. Every system was built out from the studs: electrical, insulation, drywall, flooring, and a complete kitchen install. The result is a space that feels intentional, not improvised.

Twelve months. That's what they were told.

Eleven and a half months later, they moved in. No delays. No "just one more week." No hitch.

Most builders pad timelines to cover themselves. We gave a realistic number and beat it.

Here's why that matters: when you're living in transition, every extra week compounds. Rent overlap. Storage fees. Kids asking when they get their own room. Life on hold.

This family had zero build experience. They knew what HGTV showed them, which is to say they knew nothing useful. They needed a timeline they could believe in, not one designed to make us look good when we hit it six weeks late.

We told them twelve months because that's what the project required. We finished early because the schedule was built honestly from the start.

Your biggest fear isn't picking the wrong tile.

When you've never built before, the real fear is getting taken for a ride by someone who knows more than you do.

One family came to us with a firm budget and zero contingency. They'd contacted four other builders. Their instinct said trust us. Their fear said protect yourself.

Here's what eliminated the fear: numbers that didn't move. Cost estimates matched actuals. The client portal became their late-night research tool (helpful when you've got a new baby and insomnia).
