Notice
We will be milling Bass wood shortly. Bass wood is great for trim and furniture building. We will have veneer grade for your projects. It will be selling for $1.25 BF. Compare that to clear pine at $6 BF.
We can dress up to 12" wide. Custom milling to meet your spec's just let us know.
Basswood has a beautiful creamy colour that can range from pale white to light brown with no clear division between heart and sap wood. The face grain of the wood is the most uniform in color and the grain is fine and straight.

Working with Basswood is an absolute joy. It cuts like a hot knife through butter and despite being soft, it holds detail extremely well.
