These aren’t your typical ceiling beams you can find from a supplier…

These are BETTER. These homeowners took it upon themselves to repurpose what used to be the wood boards from their old dock at their cottage and other pieces from a friend. They had them planed, stained and built into these perfect ceiling beams for their new kitchen.

It’s repurposed, it has history and sentiment, and it’s new to this space. How lucky are we to put these up for them?

That’s what makes this part of the project 10x cooler. Shoutout to these homeowners 🙌🏼

Beams are going UP🙌🏼

Adding to the charm of this East St. Paul addition by adding some REPURPOSED overhead beams in the new kitchen✨

But before we tell you where these repurposed beams are from… can you make a guess? 🤔

He genuinely just enjoys a good supply run… just on race mode!

At least we get some extra steps in our day🤔

Happy Monday!

No cover, no last call, cocktail hour is officially any hour…

This whole-home reno was quite a transformation, but the addition of this basement bar was one of our favourites! The best space to wind down, have a movie night, host parties and have friends and family over 🙌🏼

Feeling so thankful 🍂

Thankful for this team, this community, our partners, our suppliers and our customers. This wouldn’t be CDBG without you.

Thankful to be able to do what we do.

What do you think?

Should we have made it larger? 🤔✨

Why do we walk through a project BEFORE it is fully finished?

As we neared the end of the massive addition, we took time to walk through, assess, and analyze the process so far. We made sure doors were sliding like they should, took note of touch-ups and adjustments along the way, and gathered input from our homeowners.

At the end of the day, our homeowners will live here, and they know best what works and doesn’t work for them. A collaboration of ideas and tweaks is what makes this project unique to them and that’s why it’s important for us to do these check-ins BEFORE the project is even done.

Now that we have our list, that finish line is closer than ever! 👏🏻🙌🏼

A beautiful kitchen soon to be filled with loved ones 🍂

This out of town project is nearing the finish line and this massive space will soon be filled with family and friends! That’s the best part of what we do.

There will usually be a truck… or 7.

Every trade you can think of is on site for this out of town project.

It takes a big team to make a big project happen, so shout out to all of our guys out there showing up and putting in the work🙌🏼
