It’s been a busy week filling orders for this Christmas Pallet Lantern/centerpiece. This is “Snow White” definitely our largest Christmas Lantern we’ve built.

Made from reclaimed pallets this one stands at 18 inches tall x 9 inches wide.

Whalers Wharf wood… is wood we’ve reclaimed from the decades old wharves that have been hauled up from the sea to be replaced with new wharves. The wood has spent decades in the frigid, turbulent waters of the North Atlantic, holding back the sea as if locked in an epic battle. We process the wood and keep what we can and use it to create stunning Christmas crafts and treasures. We are so excited that another holiday season is before us. This year we will be launching some new Christmas centrepieces so keep watch.

We’ve also stumbled upon some beautiful, reclaimed wood that we’ll be using to create some of our Centerpieces. This wood we’ve called “Whalers Wharf” it’s wood that was used to build the wharfs in many of the outport communities in Newfoundland. This wood is thick, it’s rugged and it’s weather beaten from decades of holding back the pounding North Atlantic Ocean.

After processing the lumber we craft it into our Christmas pieces. When you order from us this year you’re getting more than a Centerpiece… you’re getting a piece of Newfoundland history.

Look for the Whalers Wharf logo to see if your product is made with it.
