Improving access to garages is important these days. With this client we extended the top step to make it easier to transition from the home, and built the stairs out of pine which is softter than concrete! The stairs are also built in a box design which is stronger and does not use risers.

- Planning for the next 10-20 years including needs for chair lifts, first floor

The Seniors’ Home Safety Tax Credit is a temporary, refundable personal income tax credit that can help you make your home safer and more accessible, helping you stay in your home longer.

The credit is available for the 2021 and 2022 tax years and is worth 25% of up to $10,000 in eligible expenses per year for a senior’s principal residence in Ontario.

Expenses must be paid or payable in 2021 and 2022. The maximum credit is $2,500 per year.

Improving access by rebuilding the stairs and adding an additional handrail, extending stairs to the house, and updating.

Crew completed hedge trimming at 18 ft on right and cut back on trees at 30 ft on left, widening the area. Used Scaffolding, hedge and pole trimmers.
