Restoring the exterior of a heritage home in Shaughnessy means respecting the original Edwardian silhouette while making sure the structure survives another hundred damp Vancouver winters. Modern composite isn’t an option here, it’s all about traditional techniques, rot repair, and quality timber.

That’s more like it 😍

For the wall panelling, we framed out classic picture frame moulding with clean, crisp mitres, tying the entire space together with seamless crown and baseboard integration.

To highlight the high-contrast black window, we wrapped it in layered, thick casing trim—making the window a true architectural focal point that grounds the softer, warm grey palette.
