Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
Install siding as per specifications and schematics for building using hand and power tools
Cut and trim material to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw
Continuous learning with constant revision and refining of training resources as they are developed and improved
Be awesome and enjoy the fast-paced work environment

Required Qualifications:
Ability to stand & crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.

40 hours a week shift. Monday to Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM OR

Job Description and Main Duties:

- Determine layout, installation procedures
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Install siding as per specifications and schematics for building using hand and power tools
- Cut and trim material to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw
- Create, design and build panels
Continuous learning with constant revision and refining of training resources as they are developed and improved
- Working alongside our fellow trade contractors to advance timelines and commitments to the best of your ability in a safe manner
- Ensure quality and consistency of the projects
- Maintain the highest health and safety standards in the industry

Required Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to walk, stand & crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents including technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently as well as prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team

Main area of work: Vancouver, BC. But readiness to work in different municipalities of the lower mainland area is considered an asset.

Ability to pass criminal record checks (required for working in occupied buildings)

Ability to work effectively in different climatic conditions, good manual dexterity, physical strength and stamina.
Ability to work from heights (Fall Protection certification considered an asset)

Schedule:
40 hour week shift. Monday to Friday.

Experience:
Siding installation: 2 year

Pay:
$20 to $25 per hour. Benefits package after 3 months of employment.
