We recently hosted North Cowichan’s Mayor, Council, and city officials at our Sherman Road project to review the incredible progress made since our January kickoff.

As the Development Manager, we are proud to deliver 34 family-oriented townhouses and 58 apartments (ranging from studios to 3-bedrooms) for Community Land Trust.

Future residents will enjoy vibrant, shared spaces, including elevated outdoor areas, playgrounds, and dedicated community amenities.

We are thrilled to share that we recently celebrated the grand opening of Tung Sam Lau in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

TL Housing Solutions and Townline Construction joined the project as the Design Builder, and we are proud to have developed and constructed this 10-storey supportive housing building. Alongside all of our project partners over the years, we have made these 76 homes a reality.

Thank you to the residents, government representatives, community partners, and stakeholders who were part of this journey including Atira Women's Resource Society, Community Land Trust, City of Vancouver, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Townline and Christine Boyle.

Meet Nadia Hill, our Director of Development at TL Housing Solutions!

Nadia is a senior development professional with over 15 years of experience in residential development and construction management. As Director of Development at TL Housing Solutions, she oversees projects across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, guiding them through due diligence, planning, design, budgeting, approvals, and construction.

She works collaboratively within the team to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards while also contributing to corporate strategy and mentoring her team.

We're pleased to share our recently completed project at 177 West Pender in Vancouver.

Operated by Atira Women’s Resource Society, the community has been named Tung Sam Lau and provides vital new homes (76 over 10-storeys) in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

With micro suites to family units, the suites will be rented out a shelter rates to vulnerable individuals in our community.

Amenities include a rooftop community garden and playground, and plenty of indoor spaces to gather.

Thank you to our partners Community Land Trust (CLT), the City of Vancouver, and CMHC’s Rapid Housing Initiative.

We’re excited to share the first renderings of the Sherman Road project in North Cowichan.

As Development Manager, we’re working alongside an incredible team to deliver 34 family-oriented townhouses and a mix of 58 studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments, which share access to common elevated outdoor spaces, play areas, and communal amenity spaces.

Construction is officially underway, and we look forward to sharing more updates as the development continues to take shape.

Townline Housing Solutions has secured three new non‑market developments, bringing 450+ much needed homes to B.C., starting in 2026 and 2027.

We’re proud to share that Crosstown received the Award of Excellence in Affordable Housing at the Capital Region Commercial Building Awards.

Completed in 2024 in partnership with Victoria Cool Aid Society, Crosstown delivered 154 homes including 54 supportive homes, 96 affordable rental and 4 work-live units to Victoria. Its commercial space which includes a local-operated daycare, non-profit society, and an artist-in-residence live/work program showcasing local art transformed an underused Burnside-Gorge site into a vibrant, people-focused community space.

Last week, our team was on-site at 3181 Sherman Road in North Cowichan to kick off the construction of 92 new affordable co-op homes to the community.

This development marks the first-ever non-profit housing co-op in the Mid-Island, and we are incredibly proud to partner with with The Community Land Trust, Municipality of North Cowichan, BC Housing and the Government of Canada bring this project to life.

We look forward to the journey ahead as we work toward completion in early 2028!
