We offer a mix each season

of classes ranging from progressives leading up to a student showcase performance, to dance & burlesque skill building classes, to workout and dance conditioning classes. The VBC offers private sessions for those looking for a one-on-one experience with top-notch instruction. We help those looking to work on their dance skills, performers wanting to fine-tune their numbers, plus fitness models and body builders prepping routines and poses for competitions. is dedicated to making your special event a remarkable occasion! Whether for a Stagette, Birthday, Team Building or a Sassy Night Out, let us customize your experience to the fullest! Whether you are wanting the lesson to be the centre of your event, or to have it warm up your night out, we are here to get your blood pumping and cheeks flushed with an hour-long scrumptious burlesque class.

It gives the audience time to take you in, the photographer time to snap a good shot of you, and you a moment to breathe, collect yourself, and absorb the audience’s energy. In this workshop we’re going to slow it down and take the time to be seen and to breathe.✨

About Obscura:
As a first-generation Bajan-American, dark-skinned, fat, q***r, femme, they embody powerful authenticity, and their performances captivate with an alluring mix of mystery and magic, while challenging assumptions of sexuality and q***rness.
Obscura is also producer, dance instructor, and Board member at The Burlesque Hall of Fame. In these roles Obscura champions spaces where “nontraditional” artists can thrive, succeed, and build community. Bringing to light the beauty that lives in the souls held in the bodies of the fat, over 40, Q***r, BIPOC, and individuals living with disabilities.✨

In this class, we’re diving straight in—starting with a quick, energizing warm-up before getting into some exciting choreography. We’ll move at a pace that keeps everyone feeling confident and in the groove, creating a space where you can let loose, learn, and grow. Picking up choreography is all about practice, and these moves will have you feeling fierce, fluid, and unstoppable on the dance floor!✨
