A beautifully curated evening with Gaggenau Official

From BC oysters and Alberta beef carpaccio to the Symphony of the Sea and a beautiful butternut squash finale, every course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.

The w**e pairings made the evening even more memorable, with each selection served at its ideal temperature and thoughtfully chosen to complement each course. Thank you Simon Says Drink 🍷 for guiding us through such a beautiful selection of w**es throughout the evening.

Such a lovely way to experience the unveiling of Gaggenau’s W**e Climate Cabinets and Preservation Columns — where food, w**e, temperature, and design all came together.

Thank you Deseree Lo (盧) and Bon Moment Event Catering for the incredible menu, and Gaggenau Official and Midland Appliance for having us and making the evening so memorable.

A warm, contemporary design featuring natural wood, soft neutral tones, custom millwork, and a cozy top-floor attic with sloped ceilings. A thoughtful balance of modern simplicity, timeless character, and everyday comfort.

What an inspiring night at GALA 2026!

So happy to be here supporting Star and celebrating such a creative community!

The whole evening brought back memories of my New York days — wandering through pop-up street galleries, surrounded by art, creativity, and inspiring conversations.

Cheering on talented artists, connecting with like-minded designers, and sharing that incredible creative energy. It felt just like being back in NYC!

Love the vibe, love the people, and love seeing Vancouver’s creative community come together!

What a night to remember at IDS opening night! We kicked things off with CF Interiors and Divine Flooring’s three-hour boat cruise. After leaving the boat in the pouring rain, we hurried over to Glowbal for w**e and fresh oysters at the Kohler and Ann Sacks party, celebrating the launch of the Claude bathroom collection in collaboration with Shea McGee.

After warming up, we headed to IDS opening night—a chance for designers to come together, discover the exciting materials and ideas Vancouver has to offer, and catch up with so many wonderful friends and industry colleagues. It was so much fun, even though we kept missing each other!

Then we continued to the Midland × Monogram after-party at a Gastown bar with a live band, before ending the night dancing at the House of Rohl party at Mansion Nightclub in the Paradox Hotel.

What a party marathon! We need to get ourselves together and are already looking forward to next year. 🤣

Before & After | A 25-Year-Old Home Reimagined

We extended the family room into a new chef’s kitchen while keeping and updating the original kitchen. A black-framed glass partition connects the two spaces while helping contain cooking odours.

Warm white cabinetry, natural oak tones, clean lines and black accents bring a modern Scandinavian feel—minimal and bright, yet still warm and inviting for everyday family living.

A short but productive trip to Toronto — visiting newly opened restaurants, checking in on sites under construction, and exploring future locations currently in the works.

A custom home in White Rock with a warm, sophisticated take on mid-century style, layered with Restoration Hardware furnishings and timeless architectural details.

We wanted the home to feel rich and elevated without becoming too formal. Deeper wood tones, warm neutrals, textured fabrics, statement lighting, and vintage-inspired pieces create a slightly darker, moodier palette while still keeping every space cozy and inviting.
