🚫 Avoid These 3 Kitchen Cabinets! 🚫

Thinking of a kitchen remodel? STOP before you make these costly mistakes:

1️⃣ Pull-Out Trash Cabinets
They seem convenient… until leaks, grime, and sagging glides turn them into a nightmare. Cleaning and repairs? Painful and pricey.

2️⃣ Door-in-Front-of-Drawer Cabinets
Open door ➡️ pull drawer ➡️ grab item ➡️ push drawer ➡️ close door… repeat daily. Space-wasting, time-wasting, frustration-making.

3️⃣ Traditional L-Shaped Corner Cabinets
Where your mixing bowls go to disappear forever. Awkward access and wasted space—skip them!

🏡 Thinking about a kitchen Reno? The choices you make today determine your home’s value tomorrow.

Here’s the reality: Trends are tempting, but “timeless” is what actually sells. 🚫 No curved cabinet doors. ✅ Stick to Shaker or flat-front styles.

It’s not about chasing the latest look—it’s about creating a space that feels right for *years*. Think medium wood tones (walnut > super light oak), subtle stone patterns, and functional layouts that work for real life.

The kitchens that hold value? They blend in, they function well, and they let buyers imagine *their* life there.

🎯 Swipe through for the key principles I share with my clients when we’re evaluating a property’s potential. Design for longevity, not just the ‘gram.

If you look at many washrooms from many years ago, they were separated into two compartments. One room had the toilet, and the other room had the bathtub and the sink. This is because people were able to use these washrooms at the same time. In the olden days, it was common to have a house to have only one washroom. So, if a family had four people, they would have to wait forever for a person to finish using the washroom before the next person was able to use it. So in order to make it more functional, they separated washrooms in this manner. It was basically a matter of necessity. then as X went on, people and Society had more money to build more washrooms, and it was then common to have two washrooms or more. It was only then that a washroom would have a toilet bathtub and sink all in one room.

This brings us to the modern washroom. What do you think of when you think of a washroom? Do you envision a place of reflection, where you can sit on the toilet and contemplate life's bigger questions? Or maybe you think of it as a place to escape the hustle and bustle, where your phone is turned off and your laptop is closed. The truth is, the modern washroom serves both those purposes and more. In fact, modern washrooms are designed to be much more than just toilets. They're also spaces for washing, relaxing, and even socializing.

They're often equipped with amenities like Wi-Fi connections, televisions, magazines and newspapers, complimentary drinks and snacks, or comfortable chairs for reading. So why are washrooms so special? And what goes into designing one?

Let's talk about how to design a modern washroom that's functional and easy on the eyes—and what kind of costs you can expect to run into along the way. First things first: we should chat about the two different styles of modern washrooms: open-plan and separated. Both are super modern, but each has its own unique perks. Open-plan designs are better for larger spaces because they create an airy atmosphere that encourages collaboration among workers and can help foster a feeling of oneness between everyone in the office. They also allow for accessibility options like wheelchair stations and baby changing stations, which separate designs might not be able to accommodate. On the other hand, separated design works well in small spaces where walls might be necessary to keep the noise down or define different areas of space. In either case, there are a few major design elements that will help your washroom stand out as modern: - In open-plan designs, use bright colors and natural materials like stone or wood to make the space feel connected with nature or maybe even underwater (if you want to go crazy).

We will give you some fresh, modern renovation concepts for kitchens that you can use to make small changes to your kitchen or complete overhauls to create a totally new look.

A kitchen is perhaps the most important room in your home. It's where all of the family's meals are cooked and eaten, and where kids will sit down to do their homework. It's a place for comfort and warmth, but also for gathering around to socialize. A beautiful, functional kitchen can make all the difference in your home. In recent years, there has been a growing trend in kitchen design: modern renovation concepts. These concepts are based on removing old, outdated elements from your kitchen and replacing them with new, more stylish options that fit better with popular decorating styles but still hold onto the core functionality of a kitchen. These renovations can be as simple as replacing your cabinet hardware or as complex as installing an entirely new flooring system. Either way, you'll be left with a more streamlined, incredibly modern space that you'll love spending time in every day!

Recent trends in kitchen design have been focused on using open layouts that are more efficient. This means that the kitchen is no longer a separate room, like it used to be. Instead, it is considered an extension of the home, and can even be accessed from outside in some cases. These days, kitchens are often combined with living rooms, dining rooms, and other common areas of a house. This type of renovation can require a few creative solutions for designers. One way that some designers have been working around this is by installing cabinets on the ceiling. This space can be used for storage or display items like chandeliers or pendant lighting. A lot of homeowners enjoy this type of design because it allows them to make better use of their space; in many cases, people who choose this option are doing so because they want to keep a large living room space open for entertaining purposes or other uses.

When it comes to remodeling your kitchen and designing a new one, there are many decisions that need to be made. There is a lot you will have to deal with in the process, but we can reassure you that it is all worth it. Installing a new kitchen will drastically change your home and make it much more enjoyable to live in. And don’t forget that having a stylish design in your kitchen will have an everlasting positive impact on the way others perceive you and your home.
