The federal government launched the ‘Canada Greener Homes Grant’ program today, offering Canadians grants up to $5,000 for energy-saving upgrades to their homes.

After several weeks of extensive backframing, we’re a mere 2-3 days away from Building No. 1’s completion! Next week, we’ll shift our focus to Building No. 2, where we’ll replicate the process before ultimately wrapping up our framing contract, here in Bella Bella. The end is in sight!

Happy Friday everyone! We’re wrapping up another week of progress on Building No. 2, here in Bella Bella, and the overall finish line is in sight! On the interior, we’ve removed the stairwell coverings and are ready to install guardrails. And on the exterior, we’re working hard to complete the wheelchair-accessible end units. Stay tuned!

Lots going on at the Bella Bella project this week! We’ve been working steadily on Building No. 1’s interior, framing the upstairs units and prepping the main floor for concrete. Across the street, Building No. 2 has also seen significant progress, with the first floor now officially completed!
