Emerald & Albion Masonry are a growing Masonry company operating in the Greater Vancouver area. We are seeking dedicated Masonry professionals who are looking to empower themselves further within the industry. Job Description:
Masonry Laborers at Emerald & Albion Masonry have the opportunity to work in a team environment on a variety of projects that not only differ in size but material installation also. You will support our bricklayers and work as part of a team to ensure all daily and crucial tasks are completed to our highest company standard. This role is very physical and requires heavy lifting on a daily basis, which can on occasion be up to 45kg at any one time. This role would be for someone who has worked in this industry before and is looking for a new challenge or for an individual who is looking to begin their career in bricklaying.
Job requirements
- Work in compliance with WorkSafeBC
- Always present a professional manor at all times
- Maintaining the company equipment and ensuring all workstations are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Loading/unloading of masonry materials and equipment at ground level and at height (scaffolding/hydro-
mobiles)
- Building/dismantling of scaffold working platforms
- Mixing mortar and/or concrete
- Operating small/large equipment: mixers, paddle-whips, shovels, brooms, floor scrapers, angle grinders, chop
saws, forklift, zoom boom, hydro mobile
- Heavy lifting machinery certification(s) are considered an asset
