Leah Alexandra Jewelry dreamed up The Bungalow to be anything but a “cookie-cutter build out.”

The vision: warmth. Lighting and finishes that feel integrated, not installed. A space that glows rather than just lights up.

Bringing it to life meant Arcwest Electric Ltd. wiring a lighting plan built around feeling, not just function, and the Made by Pacific team shaping the millwork and construction to match, every step of the way.

A suspended structural steel ceiling. Soft drapery so you forget you’re in a mall. A ch*****ne lounge. The Bungalow was never going to be “just a store,” and Leah Alexandra Jewelry knew that from day one.

Four builds together now, growing right alongside Leah and her team. Every one different by design, every one built to match her vision — the Bungalow included. Step inside (or at least swipe ↔️) and you’ll see why people are staying longer than they planned to.

Thanksgiving has us thinking about the people who actually make Pacific what it is.

The crew. The ones on site before the coffee's even hot (or picking it up for everyone on the way), the ones who catch the thing nobody else would've noticed, the ones who show up for each other even more on the hard days.

We build a lot of things around here. But the thing we're proudest of is who we get to build them all with.

To our Pacific family: we know exactly how lucky we are. Thank you — for all of it. 🧡

The part nobody posts: getting it out the door.

By the time a piece hits the loading dock, it's already been designed, fabricated, and finished by hand. So the last step gets as much care as the first — every piece loaded, strapped, and protected for the road. Nothing leaves until it's right.

Especially when "site" is 's new Burton store in New York City. From our shop floor in Vancouver to a shop floor across the continent — no do-overs, no popping back to fix a thing. It had to leave here perfect.

Built here, shipped there — now showing off Burton's gear in the big city.

Come on a Friday night and Cloudstreet feels electric. Come on a quiet Tuesday and it's calm, unhurried, yours. Same room, two completely different moods.

The lighting, the warm finishes, a blue that cools the whole room down — all of it right in the middle of downtown Vancouver.

Quality and Service. Those are the two words our business runs on.

So weren't we happy when The Shop at Pacific took home Excellence in Quality and Excellence in Service at this year's AWMAC BC ( AWMAC - BC Chapter) Awards for our work on Bam Bam.

Quality is the millwork you can see: the curved cherry veneer, the built in speakers, all of it built to be looked at up close. Service is the part you can't — how it felt to work with our crew from first concept discussion to final install. We care about both, and it was an honour to have both recognized on the same night.

Thank you to the Bam Bam team for trusting us with it, to McKinley Studios for the design worth building, and to the AWMAC Association for the recognition. We’re so proud of what this crew can do and it’s incredibly special to be able to share it with the world!

We're pretty pumped to have two projects up for consideration at the 35th AWMAC BC Awards of Excellence this week: Regency Lexus - Vancouver & Burnaby and Bam Bam.

They couldn't look more different — but both came down to precision. The Lexus build was all clean lines and tight tolerances: a massive curved slat wall and a back-lit Shoji-style wall, designed by Waissbluth Architecture.
Bam Bam brought a whole varsity-meets-record-shop world to life — curved cherry veneer, waxed stainless, built-in speakers, designed by McKinley Studios

Two very different worlds. The same standard out of The Shop, down to the last detail — with design partners who gave us something worth building.

Marble-topped tables. Lounge seating built for lingering. Floor-to-ceiling windows connecting you with the city. And a kitchen-style buffet anchored by a moody indigo tile feature that we'd argue is the star of the room.

That's the newly renovated Executive Lounge at Hyatt Regency Vancouver — designed by Hager Design International Inc, built by us, and officially open.

Somewhere to get work done, take a meeting, or just sit with a coffee and the views. Elevated but genuinely comfortable — that balance was the whole point from day one.

Be honest: could you actually get any work done with a view like that? 👀
