Alpine Garden Club of British Columbia The Alpine Garden Club of BC (AGCBC) is a Vancouver based gardening society to promote the interest and preservation of alpine plants.

The Alpine Garden Club of British Columbia is interested in promoting the education, growing and cultivation of alpine plants. Worldwide, the Alpine Garden Club has approximately 250 members in 16 countries, half of whom live in British Columbia, Canada, the remainder reside in other parts of North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. I am delighted to introduce a new contributor from Kazakhstan, Adilmurat Nagashpekov (Адильмурат Нагашпеков) who sends a photo
essay of some plants he has seen on his mountain outings. It is always a pleasure to find a young person who is interested in learning more about the world around them, and sharing that experience with others.
