Tayybeh: A Celebration of Syrian Cuisine Organization supporting Syrian women through promoting their awesome homecooked food. All while doing something they love: cooking.

Tayybeh is an award-winning women-run social enterprise that supports Syrian women chefs in Vancouver through showcasing their delicious traditional food. Whether through community-based dining experiences, event catering, food truck, fresh and frozen meals, or products in stores, Tayybeh is a celebration of the delicious and authentic dishes from the chef's hometowns across Syria. Through this wo

rk, the women of Tayybeh have access to an income and financial independence. Working together, they build connections with other women and interact with the communities they live in. The word "tayybeh" in Arabic is the feminine construction that means "kind", and in the colloquial Levantine dialect means "delicious." We hope that "Tayybeh" will enrich the Vancouver culinary scene with many delicious Syrian meals, showcase the kindness and hospitality of our wonderful chefs, and demonstrate the generosity and support our city.

We’re grateful to see Tayybeh at 4.8 stars on Google, but what means even more are the experiences behind those reviews.

This week, one guest shared their experience of a relaxed midweek dinner and attentive service. Another told us about the retirement celebration we catered for 40 guests, from the home-cooked flavours to the delivery, setup and service.
