Adam Gracey started the company in 1994. Over the years D.A. Gracey & Associates has become as much a family as it is a business.

Together with his wife Christine & a close core staff of dedicated professionals in the areas of landscape architectural technologists, landscape architects, certified horticulturalists/landscapers, stonemasons and carpenters, they provide a full range of services and support in all areas of landscape construction and landscape design.

We love revisiting our past clients and their projects! Today we revisited a Lake Simcoe planting project almost two years to the day we planted it. It's looking fantastic, if we do say so ourselves! Phase Two coming up....Here are the same views 2021 and 2023.

We always ask our clients what colour palette they want for their gardens and landscape. And we design to that - purple and white with yellow accents, or reds, oranges and yellows, etc.
And yet at home - what we have is ‘All the Colours!’
And I’m happy with that!

Sometimes the gardens are most important for the furry members of the family!

Landscapers love to see (and plant) lovely symmetrical and straight trees like the one in the first photo. However, at this time of year my favourite tree is this old apple tree in our yard. Crooked and scarred, rotted and barely hanging in these last few years; the look and scent of it’s multitude of blooms is a sight to behold!
