Just had another customer with a sewage backup, with insurance coverage limited to only $10,000. If you own a home anywhere in Ontario or the world, for that matter - please please please check your policy to ensure you have enough coverage!!! If you don't understand the policy - ask your broker! If you don't have a broker, call your insurance company and wait on hold for a while unfortunately.

Summary

At Shield Restoration, we specialize in water damage restoration services. We also offer fire and smoke clean up, storm response services and mould remediation. We take care of cleaning up any water damage/flood with our extraction service and state of the art drying systems.

Working with a growing restoration organization, as a water damage technician , you would embrace emergency response remediation of water damage, smoke, mould and much more.

Responsibilities and Duties

Working with a crew for water damage restoration from leaks or floods
Removal of materials caused by water, smoke/fire damage
Sewage cleanup and removal
Mould remediation
Deployment of drying equipment and implementation of diagnostic tools
Qualifications and Skills

1 or more years of water damage mitigation
A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and take pride in your work.
High school diploma/ GED preferred
Some construction industry experience preferred
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
Compensation:

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour plus bonuses
