We embraced tradition for this fireplace renovation in our Bear Mountain project - custom millwork, a new tile surround and a large insert gave this centrepiece more presence and blended the mix of contemporary and antique furniture and art pieces in this home. Scroll to see the “before”. 🪵 🕯️

Renovating doesn’t always mean tearing everything out.
It can be a small change that makes a big difference, or something more significant.

What matters most is understanding what doesn’t work about your space & how you would ideally like it to function.

Sometimes the layout needs a small tweak.
Sometimes the whole space needs rethinking.
Sometimes you have inspiration, but lack clear direction to achieve an inspiring space yourself.

Taking a moment to ask the right questions makes all the difference.
We’re here to guide you through that process so everything is clear before we start.

This is Alex. 👇🏽
I’ve been building and renovating since I was a teen. As a Red Seal carpenter with over 17 years in the field, I started Revere in 2021 because I saw that homeowners on Vancouver Island wanted to work with someone who cares about their homes almost as much as they do - even with the quirks that come along with older homes. We are reliable, honest and hands-on, committed to making sure our clients understand the process and what will be achieved at the end of the day.

« Making spaces look beautiful is great, but making the experience smooth and enjoyable? That’s the part I love most.” A

This bathroom was a puzzle from the start. A small footprint, with intersecting vaulted ceilings and a lot of 1900s character waiting to emerge.
We went bold with green tile to bring a current touch to a historic home.
It’s the details that breathe new life into the space - the cabinet cabinet finishes, the verdant green tile, quartz door transitions.

The best part? Seeing our client’s face light up as the space began to take shape all the way through to completion. This is why we love our work.
