Been a while since our last update! We’ve stayed very busy working on this mixed use commercial-residential project in Collingwood. With the weather warming up there’s been lots of progress lately, inside and out. It’s been great working with such a versatile team that has a wide range of skills and knowledge in the trades. I’m really looking forward to progressing with this build and to be breaking ground on the next project soon

Some progress from the past 2-3 weeks. Formed, gravel slung in, footings poured, ICF installed and poured, and first day of waterproofing. Waterproofing inspection in 2 days, wrapping up dimple board tomorrow. This custom home is approximately 5,000sqft finished

Today’s quick beam, rim joist and bottom plate replacement on a boat-only access cottage. Removed old rotted materials and installed new pressure treated 2x8’s. Lots of bracing needed for our ladders due to steep and rough terrain. Also applied some bracing on the cinder block piers before replacement in the spring
