Mahigan Consulting under the leadership of Tamara Goddard and in partnership with Michael Izen is taking the lead on implementation of the shipbuilding initiative to support Aboriginal supplier inclusi

on in the National Shipbuilding Strategy for Western Canada. The project will conduct a Supply Chain Analysis to identify opportunities for Aboriginal suppliers as well as an Aboriginal Supplier Inventory and Skills Gaps Analysis. Other initiatives include establishing mentorship opportunities to enhance Aboriginal supplier skills and the provision of information sessions and shipbuilding opportunities forums.
