What a week..! Planter pots for Fall colour, gardens still looking good, Fall is here, indoor cool tree care, Flowers at home :), and yes, that whole big truck was full of plants for just 'us'... Enough plants for you?!? Setting, planting, re-naturalizing, amazing huge job. Got it done! Some more re-arranging and transplanting. And amazing Fall colours!! 🍁🌱💪💚😎

Incredibly honoured and proud to have been recognized for Women's Leadership in Horticulture by BC Landscape and Nursery Association BCLNA.
Thank you for the award and a most awesome Garden party 2026!
This means a lot to me. There have been many amazing women in our industry ahead of me and there are many more. Dedicating this honour to Ruth Olde and Hedy Dyck who have been such strong and influential role models. I wouldn't be where I am today without you and always said that I want to be like Ruth when I grow up... Miss you, but know that your legacy lives on! Luckily, we are in an industry that grows stuff 🌱🌸🌹 Horticulture trades rock and we are making a difference each and everyday!
Thanks to my team Heike Designs who allow me to do what I do within the industry.
Here's to the amazing fellow award recipients and the Green Industry future! 💚

We are hiring and looking to add the right people to our team to finish the busy Fall season with us. Get ready to make a difference and work at some of the nicest gardens in Whistler.
Experience in residential maintenance is great but we train and provide the start up into next season for the right person.

Some amazing stuff still going on Heike Designs . Properties are looking good and some new projects going in. It's been a hot one but summer is here! Have some unusual (for us) visitors 🦌. More gardens and more winged visitors 🦋 and yes, managed to get some more hanging baskets for a late season order request. Looking good around here! 🌺🌱😎Making it happen. Yay team!!

Much needed time for an update! It's been a while... Busy times in the gardens and lots going on: Flowers popping everywhere. Vancouver Zen garden in full glory. And yes, those Hydrangea flowers are that big. Lots of pruning. Shade plant beauties. Annual planting and happy visitor 🦋. And hanging baskets looking good 😊 🌱💚🌺
