Since 2021, we've been working in the Cheakamus community to disconnect the aging DES system and replace it with a lifetime warranty Eco King hot water tank and boiler.

We’ve put together a quick timelapse to show the lads in action and give you a look at what the process involves.

It’s been recommended that the DES systems be replaced as soon as possible, as many are already showing clear signs of corrosion.

We’re proud to be part of this project - helping Cheakamus homeowners move away from a costly, high maintenance system to a low-maintenance solution.

When a hot water tank is well past its lifespan… this is what you’re showering in! 😳 This hot water tank was long overdue and it shows!

Delaying replacement can result in major leaks and costly damage. If your hot water tank is between 6–8 years old, it’s time to consider an inspection or upgrade.

These photos show a tank that had been leaking for a while and was well past its prime!
