Grandpa, tell me bout the good ol days… I love this paper called The Stop from mint by Michelle. It reminds me of my gramps who had Texaco gas station for over 50 years and restored antique cars. (I posted pics of him in reel and had AI add him to the image for fun but it’s not on the actual piece.) I applied the paper to a 50’s dresser and used Annie Sloan gold size to stick it and painted with primer red, honfleur and graphite. Created a grungy greasy vibe and a faux wood grain to the top drawer.

I’ve loved this image from the moment I saw it, it reminds me of my grandpa who had a texaco gas station for more than 50 years and collected antique cars. (I posted a pic of him and one of his cars ♥️). Its called “the stop” from mint by Michelle, I applied it to this 50’s boxy dresser with a faux wood grain top drawer that I created with a graining tool and a grungy, greasy brick exterior feel using Annie Sloan primer red , honfluer and graphite with dark wax. New antique brass k***s and clean easy to open 4 drawers. Check out the last image I used AI to add my gramps into the image just for fun he’s not really in there lol. Paper and paints available in store, stop in !
