Hiring: Shop Hand
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (Schedule: 8 hour shift, 7:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday-Friday)
Pay: CA$21.00 - CA$22.50 per hour
Job description and responsibilities:
Perform basic shop tasks including but not limited to:
Cabinet assembly;
Edgebanding;
Set up and operation of the CNC machine (experience dependent);
Loading and offloading of CNC machine;
Loading cabinets into delivery vehicle;
Cleaning and general maintenance tasks;
Delivery of manufactured goods to client locations:
Safe operation of delivery vehicle to client sites;
Offloading cabinets into delivery vehicle.
General duties including but not limited to:
Shipping and Receiving;
Inventory Counts.
Assist in developing processes and procedures required for performing role effectively.
Other responsibilities applicable to title.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bend and lift up to 75 lbs.
Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving materials
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Basic measurement and math competencies in both Imperial and Metric
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
