💧 Windsor Basement Flooding Protection Program 💧

Did you know the City of Windsor offers a subsidy program to help protect your home from basement flooding?

Through the Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program, eligible homeowners can receive up to $3,500 in financial assistance for flood-prevention upgrades such as:

✔️ Installing a backwater valve
✔️ Installing a sump pump with overflow
✔️ Disconnecting foundation drains from the floor drain
✔️ Other approved flood-prevention plumbing work

These upgrades help reduce the risk of sewer backups and water entering your basement during heavy rain or storms.

⚠️ A few things to know:
• Work must be completed by a licensed plumber
• A permit and final inspection are required
• Funding is first-come, first-served based on program availability
