Hello everyone,

Last year around April amidst the closure of daycares & schools, the threat of the pandemic and the uncertainty of life in general, I decided to start a business. Classic.

When I took the initial leap of faith if I am being honest, it all felt totally impossible. And looking back on it, if I’m being totally honest, trying to juggle fear, full time child care and getting work done for the contracts I did get was really hard. Like really hard.

However the way of things is that a lot of the times where we suffer is also where we learn a tonne and where we learn the lessons that were too hard to learn or ran too deep within us to unlearn anywhere else.

So while it was difficult it was also so so totally worth it! My son and I have a better relationship, I am able to stay more aligned with my own values in my work and I’ve gained confidence that the work I create is valuable and worthy.

I also could not have made this professional shift on my own. So many people have come alongside when it was needed for myself and my family. In particular I want to extend my thanks to watsondeisgnsandlandscaping for taking a chance on me. The stars truly aligned for us to work together and I am incredibly thankful. You are exactly the mentor I was searching for so I could spread my wings and fly ;)
