A renovation is one thing. Completing it while the office stays fully operational is another.

Tractus took on a 5,120 sq. ft. renovation for Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, creating new offices with demountable partitions, new flooring, fresh paint, and all-new millwork.

We connected the space with a vibrant new staircase joining the first and second levels, all while the team at EGM continued working on the first floor

To make it happen, we used a ton of dust barriers, created pathways to avoid the warzone, and planned our work around their day, not the other way around.

The result was a significant renovation delivered with the day-to-day needs of the people using the space kept front and centre.

The partners that made it happen: Ambassador Mechanical Inc., Shammah Professional Painting Inc., the Original Cabinet Shop, IDEATE Design Consulting, Sych Drywall and Plastering.

The details make all the difference at .calm Fire & Ice. 🔥🧊

The immersive wellness space is carefully designed to evoke contrast, connection, and calm contemplation.

The scene is set with saltlights that emit a soft glow and lamps that keep the lighting contemplative. Touches of nature keep the space grounded, while the showerhead is built into a tree to maintain the immersion.

A warm, dim sauna flows from the main relaxation area, keeping guests in an uninterrupted state of zen as they move from hot to cold experiences throughout the space.

Every inch was thought of from the perspective of how it would feel to fully relax into the unique experience, and it shows.

It was a real pleasure to bring every facet of this design to life with the FLOAT.Calm team.

You’ll love their clever cocktails, effortlessly cool atmosphere, and stellar Osborne Village location.

We’re proud to have helped bring this one to life, transforming a former restaurant into a vibrant cocktail lounge inspired by the iconic Talking Heads track.

From opening up the space to preserving its character while meeting modern standards, this project was all about thoughtful design, creative problem-solving, and collaboration with an amazing team of partners.

The result is a cozy spot that showcases the best of Winnipeg with hospitality and personality oozing out of every corner.

Step inside the newest KHAB Tapioca spot! 💍🧋

This space was completely different in its past life as a hair salon — we stripped it back to start fresh with an entirely new layout and look.

The wedding concept was born from a beautiful vintage pew that we were able to repurpose and feature in the final design. Design Shop took that bit of inspiration and ran with it, collaborating with KHAB to create a fun and romantic vibe pulled together by thoughtful details throughout.

We had a blast bringing this space to life with our partners: .electrical.services, JB Plumbing, The Original Cabinet Shop, Econo Drywall and Ceilings.

The Albert Cohen Library proves that while libraries are typically quiet, their design doesn’t have to be. 🎨

Well-placed splashes of bold colour can inspire, energize a room designed for creative thinking, and enhance the well-being of everyone who uses the space.

This is one of many projects Tractus Projects has partnered on with the University of Manitoba, and we look forward to many more as we continue to invigorate the spaces where learning and innovation happen.
