Here was another project I enjoyed completing. With the help of my bambu 3D printer, I was able to print off some custom filler plates to conceal the gap between where some led surface-mounted lights had been installed and the previous contractor had cut away at this trimwork. The filler plates filled the cut-out about as perfect as possible, and the color of the material that was used matched the lights pretty great, too. Both the pendants and the chandelier that were installed really added to the finished look of my customer’s kitchen makeover.

Adding additional loads to your home’s electrical often means needing to upgrade your service. This customer of ours was adding an extra dryer, as well as adding a kitchenette/coffee bar, along with a handful of baseboard heaters, which warranted upgrading from a 100A service to 200A. The Shaper Origin portable cnc router we have, allows us to produce precision-cut holes for wires to pe*****te through our panelboards, which are then rounded over to leave a nice soft edge and a high quality finished product.

It would appear I have not posted to my electrical page in quite some time.. sorry bout that, friends. I hope you’re all doing great, and are just as excited as I am for Spring to come😃

I also figured I need to start sharing more photos of projects I’ve completed that didn’t make their way to my page, so here goes haha

This one here had a service upgrade from 100A to 200A due to the fact that a full kitchen, which EbTech Electric wired up, after both opening up an existing wall to allow for proper installation and vapour-barriering of all boxes for an as-good-as-new-build install, and also building an additional wall to allow for the room needed for the fridge and a cabinet. We love these kinda projects where our talents can be tapped in so many areas.

With the help of what NEON Dreamz️ can do in terms of custom woodworking and in this case design some custom solid maple undercabinet lights with professional-grade leds and driver, along with the proper acrylic meant for diffusing lighting.

We’re hoping for a busy year this year to provide more with superior work, where quality and pride of workmanship matter. It’s my 25th year as an this year, and I’m excited to see what the next quarter-century has in store for my clients, and the growth of both of these ventures. I should also add that are another area I intend to expand into, so if you or anyone you may know has been talking about needing some work done, feel free to direct them my way, and I’ll help anyone with whatever work they’re needing done. have to go for an assessment tomorrow with an Occupational Therapist to see if i’m going to be able to work doing my main gig (electrical contractor - shoot me a DM if you’re local and need some work done, i MIGHT be able to help. 😩) so i may be having to make a real go at this hobby of mine into my main job as it would be a lot more accommodating to my shoulders in their current state (both rotator cuffs are probably torn bad).. so yeah, we’ll see what happens. 🙏🏽 i’d like to take a moment and welcome my recent followers to my page, stick around, this should be a great time we’re gonna have here on my journey (maybe? 🤷🏼‍♀️) as a maker! if anyone has any ideas for stuff i should make that they’d like to see, drop a comment below and let’s hear it! later peeps. ✌🏼🌭 hey that hotdog’s for you, dude. 😄

to one of my first design projects on my shapeoko cnc a few months ago... a funky nightstand for my bedroom with a spot to put one of my philips hue lights.

i’m hoping to get to design and build a computer desk “battlestation” for my buddy’s son, and plan to make it slick af if i get to. i’ve got so many ideas for things i want to make, i just need to find the time to make them. stay tuned!

BOOM. another one, done.

Happy Thursday folks! got this sign’s backer with lighting done today (finally 🥵) so i can finally deliver it, along with the unicorn one to my buddy’s kids. i cannot WAIT to see their faces when they see the awesome signs i made them. I’ve got an idea for my next one, but it’s gonna require some painting... sooo we’ll see how that one goes.

Hellooooo people! wow, it’s been a long time since i posted last! Work’s been pretty crazy and today’s my first day off in a week and a half. And on top of that my friend/neighbour below me has had his wife and kids visiting from Toronto for the last week, so my cnc time was on hold cause i didn’t want to disturb their visit with the noise of my machine humming away above his suite 😁. I’ve got some signs i am making as gifts for his 4 kids that he will take with him when he goes to see them at the end of the month. I’ve been posting my work on Facebook marketplace and have also been getting a lot of requests and positive feedback too, which is AMAZING, to say the least 🙏🏽. I have a special project i’m working on today though for a very special little lady, and i can’t wait to see how it turns out. Hope everyone’s had a great weekend, and stay tuned for more projects i’m working on, both with my electrical contracting business, and my cnc work as well. Happy (Bad) Thursday everyone! how’s everyone’s week been? long weekend starts right away... woo!!! it’s been a busy last couple days and i can tell things are about to start picking up for my business.

i designed custom wire stand yesterday cause i’ve got a couple jobs where i need one tomorrow, and the normal ones us electricians use, are just a little too clunky for me. mine fit together so snug and since everything fits so well you can literally pick them up from anywhere and the whole thing just stays together. i suspect they will be a hit with other people who see them 😁.. and the best part, not only do they take up next to no room when they’re taken apart, they’re going to be about half the price of the other guys’

also made a custom router table insert for my workbench too the other day for when i’ve got some finishing to do on pieces that need to have a radius put on their edges etc.. super stoked with how it turned out too, and i will be testing it out later today (and i will be making a fence for it as well after i figure out all the parts i need).. also working on designing a wall mount for my set, but i need to order some better bits from , and some proper acrylic for part of it.. stay tuned for this one, cause it’s gonna be 🔥. lastly, i came up with a design for a modified spoilboard for my cnc that will have integrated t-track for clamping pieces, so i don’t need to burn up rolls of double-sided tape like they’re going out of style anymore!
