The Roofing Contractors Association of Manitoba is thrilled to honor Dan Nosaty, RSE, for his exceptional contributions to the roofing industry. Recently recognized by Senator Don Plett during the Senator of Canada sitting, Dan’s recent election as President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) is a remarkable achievement that reflects his dedication and leadership.

Dan’s nearly 30-year career in roofing began right here in Manitoba. As a former President of our association, he has been instrumental in promoting the benefits and opportunities available to tradespeople. His efforts to grow the CRCA and its impact on the industry are truly commendable.

With a significant number of skilled tradespeople set to retire by 2028, Dan’s work in advocating for the Red Seal Roofer endorsement and supporting the next generation is crucial. His leadership continues to drive the growth and success of the roofing industry in Canada.

RCAM’s Charity Golf Tournament is one week away! Funds this year go to Children's Rehabilitation Foundation and the ADAPTED BIKE program. To donate contact Marnie at [email protected]. We have over 148 golfers registered to join us at the Elmhurst Golf & Country Club next Wednesday, September 11th.

Note: Arrival time for registered players is 11:00 a.m. for a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.

Today is the final day of National Roofing Week! The theme is simply Celebration Day.

RCAM’s Celebration Day is a big thank you to our members for their support and contributions to our association, the Roofing Industry, the families that they better and the communities they serve. Thank you to all the roofing organizations for sharing such tremendous stories from coast to coast in celebrating Roofing!

What other industries literally provide roofs over our head and food on the table!

Day 5 of National Roofing Week sees our industry celebrate Employee Training. Polishing and developing the roofing labor force through provincial Apprenticeship Programs, learning and training seminars with manufacturers are some of the ways that RCAM members ensure their roofing professionals are top of class.

Many of RCAM’s members go beyond offering just roofing focused Employee Training and Development by providing professional and personal betterment training. RCAM members offer in-house University’s, Dale Carnegie Training, WCA’s Building Supervisors for Tomorrow, Leadership Development Courses by John Maxwell, Continuous Improvement Training and more.

RCAM proudly celebrates our members bettering their talented employees. It improves persons development, improves businesses, improves the roofing industry, which improves the communities in a more profound way!

Day 4 of National Roofing Week is a celebration of the industry’s most important and valuable resource, people. Employee Appreciation is an important component of a workplace culture of acknowledgment and respect.

Along with service awards and special employee acknowledgment, RCAM’s members take time to celebrate not just the people that make their business a success but their families as well.

Understanding the commitment and sacrifice asked of the families of their employees; RCAM members host family BBQ’s, Holiday Parties and other family inclusive Employee Appreciation events annually.

We look forward to another year of RCAM members honoring their people with engaging Employee Appreciation events!

Day 3 of the National Roofing Week is perhaps the worthiest of all, Charitable Projects and Events.

Imagine how far behind our resources, solutions and awareness for many living beings in need would be on a global scale if it wasn’t for the charitable efforts of the many amazing human beings and philanthropic organizations.

RCAM staunchly has and will continue to host our Annual Charitable Golf Tournament where the contributions raised are distributed to a variety of worthy causes by the Platinum Jets. The Platinum Jets are a Winnipeg based charitable organization that provides other local charities with much needed donations and resources.

RCAM’s Charitable Golf efforts over the years have generated well over $100k in donation contributions to a variety of extremely worthy causes. Thank you to our members and supporters in their generous donations that help us contribute these funds to those in need.
