We are looking for 1 or 2 new additions to the crew! Previous experience an asset but not required. Must be physically fit and work in all weather conditions.

Duties will include but not limited to lawn maintenance, seasonal clean ups, snow removal, landscaping and general labour.

Drivers licence is a bonus, but can be worked around.

It's been a little crazy the last few weeks so I haven't gotten around to keeping up with the page like I should. I have some work coming up and that we are completing now that I will post later on this week.

Been doing some larger excavation jobs....fencing....some landscaping....grass of course....And trying to do paperwork on top of it all gets to be pretty tiring....

As 'dog tired' as I get.....I hope I hold it together better than Roxy, my bully/boxer mix :p

Well....many yards for granite later....we have an improvement!!!

Please keep in mind we only extended the back portion of the rock bed....the side of the house we merely topped up and graded. I would have loved to straighten everything up for the client but they didn't see the need to do so.

There is one feature in the rear rock bed that isn't there yet. A large granite boulder from another part of their property is getting relocated into this bed. That's will be in the next few days.

The last two pictures are of a set of stairs off thier driveway that we have to fix up. That's a future post.

Got my cast off yesterday after breaking my foot almost 6 weeks ago....so what did I do with my new found freedom?

DUG A SMALL ROCK GARDEN!!

A couple of the guys and myself did this little 140 square foot river rock feature by a friend's pool. He was tired of the mud so it was the best solution for the situation.

Dug it all down 4 inches, layed some high quality landscape fabric all put in just over 2 yards of 1 1/2'' river stone. May see about putting in a couple of accent rocks to give it some interest.

We are doing another rock bed later this week or early next with 18 to 21 yards of granite with few small accent rocks, so check back!!!

What started as just digging the customers front walk, turned into digging the front sidewalk and patio with another section in the back yard.

Layed out, excavated, fill hauled, geotec supplied and installed, gravel supplied, layed and graded. Left it for the customer to lay thier stone of choice.

This was a job we did a few years back. The back yard hadn't been updated in a long, long time....so it was time for an upgrade!
There were 4 large dogs that frequented the back yard and had taken thier tole on it. Needles to say it needed a fresh start.

Barkman stack stone border with flagstone patio, regarding, new sod and soil, yard of river stone and a whole lotta work made this back yard look completely different.

There is more planned for the back yard with the gazebo and I the corner with the A/C unit....but that's another post :)

Customer had a large driveway but HATED suffling cars around.....the solution...make it WIDER!! Thier original driveway was in great shape and a concrete addition wasn't in the budget so we did the next best thing.

We dug and hauled away yards of fill to make way for almost 20 yards of 3/4 rock. You read right....almost most 20 yards. If you are going to do something, do it right!! To this day he has not seen a single rut in the gravel. Careful prep and using the right materials and process go along way to making a lasting product.

We supplied and installed all the geotec fabric, limestone and supplied the concrete materials and mixer for the customer to pour his own curb....And a little advice.

Removed old fences and posts, drilled and set new posts and built fences.
