“Who is Concept Builders”?
Well, let us introduce ourselves!
Approximately 27 years ago, a young Dean Ateah made the decision to begin a custom framing business. Growing up he had helped his Papa with odd jobs so he had a sense as to what it was all about. Dean is extraordinary at math, and that is a large part of being a carpenter.
After framing for various large and well known home builders in Manitoba, and receiving numerous calls from architects and other trades seeking advice, he decided to take the leap into Project Management. Dean has a passion for learning and especially teaching.
When Dean is asked about his work, he always replies with “it’s not work for me - it’s a passion- I haven’t worked a day in my life”. With that said, he works incredibly hard and not only manages his projects, he is also there with a tool belt and hammer working along side his crew.
Dean is also incredibly proud of his two sons, Alex and Zach, who are working towards their Red Seal Carpentry. He has also helped many of his employees pursue their own dreams and build their own companies, all of which have been very successful.
When Dean isn’t working, he can be found with family and friends, tinkering on his “toys” , singing songs out loud and making plans.
