We’re Hiring — Renovation Technicians

LEWICON is looking to hire 2 Renovation Technicians to support upcoming basement renovation and restoration projects.

We’re looking for reliable, hard-working people with experience in:

Demolition
Carpentry/framing
Drywall installation
Mud/tape and patching
Flooring installation
Finish carpentry
Doors, trim, casing, and baseboard installation
General renovation work

Experience with metal cladding, siding, exterior finishes, or commercial construction is considered a strong asset.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and general hand tools.

Applicants should be dependable, able to work as part of a small crew, take direction well, and show pride in clean, professional workmanship.

Work is based in the Winnipeg/Selkirk/Stonewall area.

NOW HIRING – REGISTERED CARPENTER APPRENTICE

Lewis-Joseph Consulting Inc. is seeking a currently registered Carpenter Apprentice to support work under a Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) with Correctional Service Canada (CSC), as well as other active job sites.

This role is with a construction management and general contracting firm and offers a mix of hands-on field work and exposure to professional construction operations.

Requirements (Mandatory)

Must be currently registered as a Carpenter Apprentice with Apprenticeship Manitoba

Must be able to adhere strictly to CSC facility procedures and security protocols

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Reliable, dependable, and punctual

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Role Overview

Hands-on carpentry and general construction work

Working within secure institutional environments (training provided)

Involvement in quality control and safety management procedures on site

Opportunity to be utilized on other commercial and residential job sites

Lewis-Joseph Consulting Inc. is looking to bring on an experienced Red Seal Carpenter for a unique opportunity as the company continues to expand into government and institutional procurement work.

This role includes:

Working on the tools performing commercial and residential construction work

Acting as a site supervisor / lead hand on job sites

Supporting and executing work on government and institutional contracts

Opportunity to submit pricing for subcontracted scopes you help identify or bring forward

Requirements:

Red Seal Carpenter certification

Own tools and reliable vehicle

Experience in both commercial and residential construction

Ability to lead by example and work independently or with crews

Strong communication and professionalism on job sites

This position is well suited for a carpenter who wants more responsibility, variety, and growth beyond a standard tools-only role.
