Our epoxy terrazzo inlay at Fort Whyte won Terrazzo Tile & Marble Association of Canada ‘s outstanding terrazzo project of the year for 2025.

This was an intricate concept that was recessed into polished concrete More details to follow!

So much of our business is repeat business and referrals; this job is no different. This client had been using a company to put on a thin epoxy system in order to stand up to the rigors of acids attacking the concrete from their processes. Sadly, the client would get 1-2 years out of each install until the client reached out and we proposed the 1/4” thick , troweled down Sika Purcem 20 system and they are blown away by its performance. Continuous acid contamination has done no damage to our current installs.

As always with what we do here at TCF ; the ‘devil is in the details”! Proper recessing of all edges to maintain minimum material thickness requirements is critical to long term performance. Second, proper substrate prep in order to remove all damaged concrete and ensure a proper profile required for this particular products requirements.

This new 11,500 sf Brewery floor for the great group turned out great! The skilled group at meticulously prepped the slab; marrying new concrete to old. The client chose the perfect system of a 1/4” Purcem 22 na Polyurethane cement to stand up to the harsh environment that breweries present. Clients rely on our vast experience in dealing with varying site conditions and huge inventory of specialized equipment to deliver technical installs day after day.

Who doesn’t love metallic floors?? 🤓. As crazy (or subtle) as these floors can get; they are still one of the more technically challenging installs we take on. It’s takes the right team and tools with alot experience to tackle polishing like we recently completed at the University of Manitoba. This 6000 sf auditorium required us to polish most of the space by hand. The 400 grit sheen was enhanced with ‘s onyx stain.

A recent exterior patio rehab project allowed us to flex all of our technical muscle to deliver a stunning result. Typically, exterior coatings in the “great white north” face significant obstacles in order to stand the test of time. First, they need to withstand freeze thaw cycles. Second, they need to cure super fast before almost daily thunder showers hit. This stunning system called “Naturals” checked all the boxes for us and our client! It’s 1/4” slurry with 2mm stone system consisting of an elasticized membrane and seal coats ; allowing it to deal with extensive freeze thaw cycles. Second, it’s MMA chemistry cures in 45 minutes! This allowed us to pour this 5 layer system in 1/4 of the time it would take us with other typical resins. If it’s unique , one of a kind floors you desire ; TCF is the industry standard with an unmatched resume of beautiful and enduring results!

Work is moving along nicely for this hangar floor for and and SkyNorth Aviation.

Designed to stand up to harsh chemical exposure, uv and hot tire pickup. These floors are typically comprised of several layers of white epoxy with an aliphatic urethane topcoat ; making for a tough and asthetic floor.

White resinous floors do take some time to perfect but when they turn out like this , it’s worth all the white hairs they cause !
