I couldnt break the Beast's heart, but I was able to tear it out. Probably 90 pounds. The hardest concrete/brick mortar/crushed stone combo I've ever laid a hammer to! 8 inches thick and solid. All to originally support a wood stove. Sheesh!!

Beat it down to the hardest core. Looks a bit like Texas? Or am I delusional from 6 hours on a jackhammer?

Whew. I haven't shown any new work for a while. This was a difficult job. Roots and rocks and rabbit joins on existing posts on the back wall, my first stepped fence, varying grades, etc etc, contractor whining!🙂 In the end, client was happy, neighbours complimenting, and a happy Jazzman!. ( just wish I was 20 years younger for this kinda stuff!)
