McLaughlin Trusses Inc is hiring a delivery driver. This position ensures the safe, timely and efficient delivery of quality roof and floor truss products.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct pre and post trip inspects on equipment and loads, reporting any deficiencies.
· Operate and maintain trucks and trailers in a safe and professional manner.
· Provide exceptional customer service.
· Verify correct product is delivered at every stop.
· Maintain strong communication with both office, logistics, peers and customers.
· When not driving, yard help is required. Moving lumber bundles, picking up loose lumber and broken pieces. Forklift experience would be considered and asset.
· At current time no USA loads. Typical loads are Atlantic Canada and higher percentage in NB.
· Paid Hourly.
· Loads are typically either over length, width and sometimes both.

Key Requirements:

· Must have a valid Class 1 License with a clean 2-year commercial abstract dated not more than 30 days prior to interview.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
· Ability to sit for long periods of time (8 to 10-hour shifts).
· Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment.
· Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. repetitively.
· Ability to use hands to grasp, handle and feel.
· Frequent stooping, bending and stretching.

Job Description:
As a Summer Laborer, you’ll be responsible for a variety of outdoor and shop-related tasks. Your main duties will include:
Mowing grass and trimming edges (whipper snipping)
Cleaning and maintaining the yard and work areas
Sweeping floors and removing wood debris
Assisting with general labor tasks as needed
Supporting the operations team when required

Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic and reliability
Previous experience with yard work or general labor is an asset, but not required
