Hoistway Ltd have a unique opportunity for a Technical Engineer, based at our busy Martock Office.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Service Director and will be responsible for, among other things, supporting the service department with technical problems in the field, conducting technical surveys, completing service rounds, producing technical reports, and liaising with clients and suppliers when carrying out site modifications or upgrades.

- NVQ4 in Lift Engineering.

- Experience of working with Lifts.

- Strong customer skills.

- Good written and spoken English.

- Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role.

After 2 years of design work, and 5 years of construction, we introduce the biggest concert venue in the south west of England, packed full of lifts designed and installed by Hoistway Ltd

The new Bristol Beaconis a project that Hoistway have worked on from initial proposed design to completion, with our partner contractor Willmott Dixon Construction.

One of the most challenging, interesting and diverse projects we’ve ever taken on. Not for the lifts themselves but due to the age of the building, diversity of lift product, the level of finish and client expectations, we are proud to be a Bristol based firm, working on an iconic Bristol building.

Whatever people think of the change in name, the build and the connection with the community is obvious and stands now as a building that all Bristolians can be proud to have in their city.

Massive thanks to all the Hoistway team that put so many hours into this project. One to be proud of.
