Liste 2026 comes to a close.

Thank you to all our galleries, artists, partners and visitors for a remarkable week at Hall 1.1, Messe Basel.

Over the past seven days, more than 100 galleries and over 60 programme participants came together for a week of presentations, performances, conversations and encounters.

See you again in June 2027. More information on the next edition will follow soon.

Until then, safe travels and smooth dismantling.

Highlight from the foyer: Monologues on a Treadmill
Marie Karlberg

Throughout the performance, a series of monologues unfolded, each performed by a different actor and based on a different script addressing contemporary and future dystopian scenarios.

The first introduced a rich young man reflecting on financial loss and increasing social inequality. The second drew on Molière’s Tartuffe through the figure of an investor profiting from financial structures designed to avoid taxation. The third centred on an artist speaking about their practice through the format of social media videos and social media fame.

The monologues point to Karlberg’s wider practice as a performance artist, who also founded the artist-run gallery Beau Travail in Stockholm in 2024.
