🔹 Finiture ricercate e texture materiche
🔹 Linee essenziali e proporzioni calibrate

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻
"The urban transformations taking place in the context of the Milanese urban region are characterized by economic and social dynamics and also by the forms and practices of public governance that have marked the Milanese urban development. Milan is the most European city in the Italian country, but it’s also part of an obsoleted institutional and regulatory planning system.
The change of the city and its territory not only passed through the realization of large unitary projects but also by the molecular reuse and redevelopment of residential properties. These bottom-up processes have had important consequences on the quality of services and open spaces, and on the relations and performance of places with great economic and symbolic attractiveness”.
The article, contained in the Editorial Dossier of 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐮𝐬 𝟏𝟎𝟐𝟖, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯", is taken from research conducted on behalf of Assolombarda by Professor Gabriele Pasqui, former director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of the Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with Architect Valentina Mion for the urban analysis and illustrative maps.

🌿𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬🌱
Phase 02: theme and educational park + housing implementation
Amazon Fun Park will be a new type of theme park where entertainment meets learning and research and where the visitor can feel part of a project that goes much further than a day trip.
The idea is to propose the visitors to become part of a common project and feel and participate of the development and growth of both the theme park and the initiatives that will be activated during the park's operation.
From a landscape point of view has a privileged status. The natural environment must be preserved and protected by limiting activities that erode and change its nature. The landscape is constantly evolving, and it’s important to interact with natural processes while respecting existing dynamics.

🌿𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬🌱
Phase 01: sustainable timeshare holiday homes
The Amazon Parques & Resorts project was born from the collaboration between Amazon Fun Park and Not To Scale Architecture
The aim is to associate a timeshare way of living with sustainability and edutainment principles to create a new concept of the holiday home experience in (Santa Catarina - Brazil).
The project was conceived to be a reference of “good practices” in the field of urban, architectural, and social sustainability.
Penha is a developing city, and this is a big plus. It has the possibility to decide how to grow and to do it in a way that guarantees the conservation of its resources and the quality of life of its inhabitants.
The concept of social sustainability is related to the timeshare way of living. In the age in which we live, the consumption of land and resources must be reduced. For this reason, systems that allow to share services are becoming increasingly popular.
For new generations, the concept of ownership is changing its meaning and sharing is becoming a common way of saving both personal and collective resources.

The “𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 – 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀”, a benchmarking of realized projects in dismissed rail yards or railway stations in Europe between 1990 and 2010.
The study was carried out by Valentina Mion and Caterina Gatti for the book “𝗔 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻. 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗬𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆'𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” (Quodlibet, 2013) curated and edited by Laura Montedoro.
The phenomenon of de-industrialization has affected a very large part of the cities of the Western world, giving rise to important and radical transformative processes. Within this scenario, the decommissioning of railway yards - and the consequent reuse and redevelopment of disused areas - has become a recurring theme in the context of urban design.
The posted image is part of the summary comparison schemes. The analyzed projects are represented at the same scale and related to the same parameters. All the cases have developed strong relationships with their surroundings -> The critical fortune and success of many proposals lie in the participatory and cooperation processes with citizens.

We are glad to present the first images of the project for the Penthouse of the famous —> 𝕄𝕖𝕣𝕧𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖 tower in Jesolo, Venice 🌊⭐

Boasting incredible views of the sea and the countryside, the apartment is nestled seafront, ideally located a short stroll from the pinewood.

The sophisticated living space have been freed from all superfluous walls to preserve the brightness of the rooms. The passage between the different spaces of the house always occurs gradually and creates a soft physical and visual connection between the rooms. All the rooms have been studied in detail to ensure maximum living comfort with accurate control of lighting, temperature, and humidity.

More pictures of the project soon! Stay tuned! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

The goals of the project are carefully outlined to be both ambitious and attainable. The project team aims to design an inclusive system that provides mixed activities thus enriching the public spaces for residents in the area, including considerations for the boardwalk, Parachute plaza, and neighboring businesses.

The new 𝑨𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 offers the world's largest indoor replica of the 𝐴𝑚𝑎𝑧𝑜𝑛 𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡, a protected and controlled context with several areas dedicated to research activities for the rainforest improvement and preservation. The aim is to improve the general awareness of this important resource involving the population thanks to an innovative educational theme park that respects the environment and promotes its care, especially for the new generations. The 𝑨𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 is a place conceived and designed to help the general public to get closer to the context of the 𝐴𝑚𝑎𝑧𝑜𝑛 𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡.
