Not everything we do shows up in photos

Behind the smooth finishes, we installed a new efficient heating system for the whole house and used breathable materials on the interior (and exterior) walls — paired with mechanical ventilation — to actively lower the humidity level and up the insulation levels throughout the home.

It’s the part of a renovation you don’t see, but it’s often what matters most for comfort and air quality long-term.

A custom oak vanity tucked under a dormer window, a built-in shelving nook framed in terracotta trim, and a brass reading light against a richly painted wall — the kind of finishing touches that don’t show up in the floor plan but make all the difference once you’re living in the space.

Reading nook

Exposed beams, new built-ins with recuperated doors, and a cozy homework corner by the window — this space was designed with the family’s youngest members in mind. Not every room needs to be big to feel right.

Storage that earns its keep

We built out a full walk-in closet with custom joinery, integrated lighting, and dedicated shelving for everything from shoes to linens. This is part of how we created extra space in the house without adding a single square meter — just by reorganising the volumes that were already there.

Wrapped in teal, filled with light

This one's all about the custom details. Rain-shower head, built-in niche and bench, walls wrapped floor to ceiling in handmade zellige-style tile — every piece with its own depth and variation, no two quite the same. Take a seat on the bench and let the second rain shower do its thing — pure escape after a long day. A new dormer window floods the space with natural light, while warm oak accents keep it connected to the rest of the home.

Textural, tranquil, and made for relaxation.

Built for two (and a bit of splashing)

This bathroom is built for two — a double vanity in deep navy blue means no more fighting over sink space. Star-flecked hex tiles underfoot echo the sunshine bathroom next door, while the walk-in glass shower and oversized backlit mirror keep things sleek and grown-up-ready. Original wood beams overhead tie it right back to the rest of the house.

Whimsical where it counts, functional where it matters most.

Old beams, new tricks

This is one of three brand-new full bathrooms we added to the house.

This little bathroom proves you can be playful and polished. Honey-yellow star-accented hex tiles bring the fun underfoot, while the exposed wood beams keep all that original character front and center. A clean white vanity with marble counters, a backlit mirror, and a walk-in rain shower round it out — bright, functional, and just a little bit whimsical (hello, rubber ducks 🐥).

Three staircases, two moods.

Two in warm oak, kept clean and minimal to let the wood do the talking within the confines of some wonky ancient walls. The other, original stair, with its gorgeous wrought iron handrail, dressed in a herringbone runner with a bold navy stripe, giving the entry a more classic, tailored feel.

Small details like these are what make a renovation feel considered rather than just “redone.”

New project reveal 🏡

This one was a full transformation for a family of 5.

We reimagined the layout from the ground up — moving and insulating walls and floors and roof, adding two new dormer windows, and building out two additional full bathrooms. Where the original house had no extra room to give, we found space by rethinking how the volumes worked together.
