📱 With the Studer monitoring app, updating devices from the next series is quick and convenient, directly from your smartphone, as long as your installation is connected to the internet.

Keeping your solar system up to date means benefiting from the latest improvements, optimizations, and fixes developed by our R&D team ⚡ and ensuring your energy system continues to perform at its best.

During the update process, the installation will briefly restart with a small power outage 🔄 Once the update is complete, the system will automatically power back up. If your installation is running a version earlier than 1.3.0.0, you will need to turn the power back on using the ON/OFF button on your device.

Mr and Mrs Furer are an adventurous couple who change attitudes towards travel aboard their truck “The Pepamobil” 🚚 For over 26 years, this Swiss couple has been travelling ~460’000 km across four continents (Europe, Africa, South America, Antarctica) in their customised truck whose on-board equipment is powered by one of our inverters ⚡

The 2V gel are charged with two solar charge controllers connected to an 1800 W photovoltaic array ☀️ installed on the vehicle’s roof. The low battery capacity (400 Ah) is a compromise between weight and the energy required to last three days. “For the past 20 years, we’ve been travelling with a relatively small battery and have never had to eat a single cold meal.” Says Bruno Furer

Our legacy the HP-COMPACT 4400-24 is used in the system for over 20 years, and supply 4400 W P30 and 12 kW P5sec. of power to a refrigerator, a freezer, an induction hob, an oven, a water pump, lights, heating and air conditioning (when needed), and other loads.

Since 2006, the of the Furer couple is working perfectly accompanying them day-to-day and even survived a flood in Brazil.

This powerful 16kVA three-phase inverter-charger seamlessly integrates solar production, battery storage, and grid interaction, giving you the best of both worlds: energy independence with the security of grid backup. Less electricity purchased from the grid, more long-term savings.

A partner recently sent it back to us for service. After 31 years of continuous operation, the capacitors had almost reached the end of their service life. We have replaced them and the device is now back in service.

🤓 For tech enthusiasts, a brief history of the TwinPower inverter 👇

Launched in 1995, it was one of the first pure sine wave inverters on the market. It delivered 230 V AC, featured a floating-type charge controller, and a maximum ☀️ PV panel tension of 46 V with a charge current of 30 A.

It was possible to activate an economy mode, use a temperature sensor for the batteries 🔋 and a digital display was included on the unit’s housing to show various data (solar power in amps, battery voltage, and the inverter’s output power).

The largest model (TWP 2024) delivered: 2000 W nominal power, 6000 W for 5 seconds, with an efficiency of 94%. The TwinPower stood out for offering the lowest standby consumption ever with a no-load consumption of < 0.5 W.

Studer Innotec's story is that of a start-up born in a garage, which has become a reference in the field of and in general. One year ago, driven by a shared ambition, the management team has come together to invest in the company’s capital and lead the buyout.

🆕 We are pleased to share that we are actively working on the development of a completely NEW GENERATION OF and designed for more demanding applications in offgrid/ongrid energy systems telecommunication infrastructures, mobility, oil & gas and defense sectors.

This new range of products is being developed with a strong focus on:

How can cows be milked directly on alpine pastures without access to the electricity grid? 🐄⚡

Raphaël Roh from “Energie verte pour tous” found the solution for his client: a mobile milking system powered by our that can be moved to three different locations.

This remarkable is located in the Swiss Alps at the Orzival Alpine pasture, a breathtaking site that is difficult to access.

The system consists of several trailers: one with the milking equipment and 3.75 kW of solar panels, another containing the pumps and storage tank, a third equipped with our 16 kVA next3 rack inverter-charger and 50 kWh of recycled EV batteries 🔋 and a fourth fitted with a 13 kVA generator.

The batteries are housed in an insulated, thermally regulated aluminium enclosure for reliable operation in all seasons ☀️🌨️. Solar energy charges the batteries and reduces generator operating time by a factor of three, significantly lowering both noise and exhaust emissions.

In addition to mobile milking, our series of inverter-chargers powers the cottage 🏡 where the cowherds live.
