The energy market is changing with the introduction of . We are already one step ahead. With our next1, next3 and the function Smart Control, our solutions are ready for the new era of dynamic electricity pricing:

The “Smart Control” function, in “Tariff-based” mode, allows your system to automatically recharge the storage battery from the grid whenever the electricity price drops below a threshold that you define.

🔋 Optimize battery usage
📉 Take advantage of changing electricity prices
💰 Reduce energy costs and improve ROI (return on investment)

All the information on how to enable the Smart Control feature for dynamic pricing can be found here 👉 https://studer-innotec.com/support/faq/batteries/battery-management/how-to-enable-dynamic-tariff-based-charging-smart-control-on-the-studer-web-portal/

A music festival in Switzerland powered 50% by solar energy ☀️
This level of autarky highlights the solar installation carried out by our partner OptimalGo for the Paléo Festival Nyon.

After assessing the festival’s energy requirements, OptimalGo installed 261 photovoltaic panels. The system generates more than 100,000 kWh ⚡ per year and covers 50% of the electricity needs of a festival edition, during which the electricity produced is fed directly into the festival’s internal grid. During the rest of the year, the generated energy supplies buildings in the surrounding area.

Daytime demand covered by accounts for approximately one third of total consumption, while nighttime demand represents the remaining two thirds 🔋 A storage system absorbs the energy produced during the day for use at night.

The installation incorporates our , a 16 kVA three-phase manufactured in Switzerland. Its two high-voltage inputs, rated at 8 + 8 kW and 900 Vdc, receive the photovoltaic output, while its 30 kVA peak capacity handles the festival’s most demanding loads. The next3 stores surplus solar energy for nighttime use in a 23 kWh supercapacitor-based storage system.

🤝 Thank you to OptimalGo for choosing our next3 inverter-charger to help achieve this ambitious goal of making the Paléo Festival Switzerland’s first 100% self-sufficient festival.
