PUYA Semiconductor (PUYA) is a leading Chinese fabless manufacturer of modern memory chips (SPI Nor Flash and Serial EEPROM).
The company was founded in 2012 in Shanghai under the name Wuxi Puya as a manufacturer of chips for controlling the rotation speed of fans, but in 2014 it reoriented itself to the development and production of EEPROM memory.
PUYA is an innovator in the semiconductor industry, using advanced technologies in its work. PUYA products successfully compete with world leaders, providing high technical parameters and having a wide range of cases, including minimal sizes. The main consumers are manufacturers of Internet of Things devices, consumer electronics, as well as the telecommunications industry.
PUYA's supply program includes SPI NOR Flash and EEPROM.
The total number of manufactured modifications exceeds 400.
The production of silicon wafers for PUYA is carried out by well-known companies HLMC and SMIC, packaging and quality control - by Hua Tian, SJ SEMI, JCET and ACE. Currently, Nor Flash is manufactured using 40 nm technology.

By 2020, PUYA ranked sixth in the world in terms of shipments of both SPI Nor Flash and Serial EEPROM. Total shipments of memory chips in the same year reached 4 billion units.
